Danashrri G. Wazalwar is a Mumbai-based visual artist with over 25years of artistic experience. Her practice is rooted in mixed-media painting, where she combines materials such as plant pulp, metals, textures, and fine-crafted hand embroidery to create deeply layered and meaningful artworks.

Her signature bodies of work include the Mriga, Śṛṅga (Srnga), Jaladhi, and Ennergy Painting series. Through these collections, she explores themes of nature, guardianship, energy, and spiritual interconnectedness. Her mastery of intricate hand embroidery brings precision, depth, and a tactile richness that distinguishes her artistic language.
